Reviews and Ratings
Even though the rooms were fine and cozy, slightly on the small side, my stay at the hotel was pleasant thanks to the quiet alleyway view and comfortable beds. The service was exceptionally polite and helpful, although there was a slight hiccup with late-night staff. The location was absolutely worth it, offering a wonderful view of the castle within the Cite walls, despite the premium rates. The dining experience was enjoyable overall, with a good selection and nice presentation, making it great value for money.
The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms are quite dark and dingy, but the location is ideal for exploring the medieval citadel in France. The service is excellent, but the dining options may not provide the best value for money.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect for exploring the old city of Carcassonne, allowing me to freely walk around the castle walls and streets. The rooms, however, were very dark with hardly any natural daylight, and the smell of sewers was quite off-putting. The service was superb, with helpful staff assisting in organizing transfers to the airport, but the dining experience was a bit lacking in variety. Overall, a mixed experience with some significant highlights and drawbacks.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room we had faced the main square with a haunted house nearby, leading to some screams during the day. Despite this, the room was spacious enough for us to move around comfortably. The breakfast being priced at 15eur per person felt a bit steep for what was offered. There were some noise disturbances from early morning garbage vehicles and loud people passing by at night, affecting our overall experience.
The hotel offers a charming view of the old city with a small private outside space that is perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. The service is friendly and helpful, although a bit scarce at times. The location is stunning in the heart of the old citadel, steps away from the castle gates. The dining experience is enjoyable with the option to dine outside. Overall, a lovely stay with minor areas for improvement.
The hotel had a quaint exterior and was steps away from everything, but the rooms were dark and dingy. The service was excellent and extremely professional. The location was perfect, right in the heart of restaurants and attractions, within the ancient walls of Carcassonne.
